Our office is in the Om Shiv Nagar area of Bhiwandi. The address is a bit long, Katekar Nagar in Kamatghar, but most folks just look for us near the main part of Om Shiv Nagar. It is a busy neighborhood in the Thane district. Our office is a simple room where we handle all the Nidhi transactions. We have been here for quite a while, seeing the area grow and change around us. It is a mutual benefit setup, so we deal with a lot of local members who come in regularly to check their accounts. The office isn’t very large. We have a few desks pushed together and some benches for when it gets crowded. It is often a bit dusty because of all the traffic and construction in Bhiwandi, but we keep the records clean. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. It is a lot of manual work sometimes, checking and re-checking the books to make sure everything is right. We don’t use fancy words when people ask us questions. We just explain things plainly. It is a regular job for us. You’ve probably walked past our door once or twice.
