Sun Plas

Sun Plas is based at the Aman Industrial Estate in Vasai (E), specifically in Building Number 3, Gala 1 2. We are situated in Dhumaal Nagar, which is a busy hub for a lot of small industries like ours. Getting here from the railway station can be a bit of a chore, especially if you have to wait for an auto-rickshaw in the heat. Our unit is basically a large open space with a small partitioned area that we call the office. It is mostly filled with equipment and raw materials, and the floor has some old stains from years of work. We have a shared water cooler near the door that everyone uses, and it is usually the place where we catch up on the local news. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. If the phone rings, whoever is closest just picks it up. Most of our days are spent making sure the machines are running correctly and that the orders are packed up for the evening pickup. The overhead lights are a bit dim in some corners, so we use desk lamps to see better. It is a hardworking environment without any of the fancy stuff you see in big city offices. When we close the heavy shutters at night, we feel like we have put in a good day's effort. It is just a regular life for us here in Vasai.
