Our office is located in Vashi, right in the middle of Sector 17. If you know the area, you know it's a pretty active spot with lots of shops and offices around. We are specifically at Office No. 316 on Plot No. 78/79. Being here in Navi Mumbai is convenient because the transport is decent and people find it easy to reach us. Sukrut Sahayog Health And Social Welfare Foundation is the name we go by. It’s a bit of a long name, but it covers what we do here. We spend most of our mornings getting things ready for the day ahead. The building isn't the newest one on the block, but it serves us well enough for what we need to do. There is always someone in the office during the week. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the files pile up a bit on the desks. It’s just how it goes when you’re busy with social welfare work. We talk to people from all over the sector and beyond. Vashi has a certain rhythm to it, and we've become part of that over the years. We aren't trying to be anything flashy or corporate. Just a group of people working out of a standard office space in a busy part of town. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, but we just take the stairs then. It keeps us moving.
