Subodh Social Foundation

We are based at 114 Saibaba Nagar in the Subhash Tekdi area of Ulhasnagar 4. If you know Ulhasnagar, you know the streets can be a bit of a maze, but we are right there in the thick of it. The Subodh Social Foundation is just a small group of us working out of this space. It’s a humble setup, nothing like those big offices you see in the city. We have some desks and a few fans to keep the air moving when it gets humid. Subhash Tekdi has a certain vibe to it, and we feel like we fit right in. We spend our days talking to people from the neighborhood and trying to figure out small ways to make things better. It’s not always easy and we don't have a lot of money to throw around, but we do what we can. Sometimes we are out on the streets more than we are in the office. People know where to find us if they have something on their mind. We don't have any fancy titles or big meetings. It’s usually just a couple of us sitting around discussing the latest news or a project we are trying to get off the ground. We’ve lived around here for a long time, so we know the people and the problems. We just want to be useful and help out where it’s needed. It's just a regular local place where work gets done every day.
