Store Planning & Projects

I am involved in store planning and projects over here at C-303 in the Poonam Everest building. We are located right opposite the Funfiesta Multiplex in the Shriprasth Complex on Station Road. Being in Nallasopara West means it is always crowded outside especially with people heading to the train station. My work involves a lot of drawings and lists for how the stores should be set up. I spend a lot of time looking at floor plans and trying to figure out where the shelves should go. It is not just about moving boxes it is about making sure everything fits in the space we have. I have a lot of samples and catalogs scattered around my desk. Sometimes I go down to the street to get a snack and see the crowds near the cinema. The noise from the station road is constant but I've learned to tune it out when I am focusing on a new project. I don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what I do. I just try to make the layouts work so the people working in the stores don't have a hard time finding things later. It is a lot of measuring and re-measuring to be sure. I have lived in this part of the city for a while and I like being in the middle of all the activity. It is a busy life but it keeps me occupied and the train commute isn't too bad.
