Our office is in Flat 1201 of Building Number 7 at Regency Sarvam in Kalyan. It is a bit different than being right on a farm, since we are in a residential complex in Thane. We spend a lot of time on our computers and phones trying to figure out new ways to handle old farming problems. Being in Kalyan gives us a good link between the rural areas and the big city markets. Most of the guys here have roots in the village, but we ended up in the city to work on the technical side of things. It is a small operation, just a few of us working out of the flat. We have stacks of papers and maps all over the place. Sometimes the neighbors probably wonder what we are doing with all the talk about crops and soil sensors while we are in a high-rise building. We are not a big corporation with hundreds of employees. We are just a small team trying to innovate in the agriculture space from our base in Maharashtra. The day starts early with calls to suppliers and ends late with us trying to fix some code or a plan for a new piece of equipment. It is busy and sometimes a bit loud in the office, but that is just how it goes when you are trying to build something from scratch. We like the location because it is easy for people to reach us.
