Our place is located in Mira Road East, inside the Shubh Apartment complex in Meditya Nagar. We are in Flat U/205, which is quite easy to find if you know the Deepak Hospital Lane area. It is a bit different working out of an apartment instead of a big glass building, but it suits us just fine. The atmosphere is quiet and we can actually get things done without too much noise from the street. Being in Phase I means we have been around here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. There are more people now and the traffic on the main road can get a little heavy in the mornings. We spend most of our time sorting through gems and making sure everything is where it should be. It is a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to cleaning up the workspace at the end of the shift. We do not have any fancy furniture or big signs. It is just a practical space where we focus on the stones we have. Sometimes we take a break and walk down the lane to get some tea. It is a local business and we know the people in the building. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks as they come. It is honest work and we like being part of this community.
