Our place is out in Badlapur West, in the Shram-Sphalya building. It’s near the Sai-Shyam Mandir, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find the turn-off. We’ve been at this spot in Hendrepada for quite some time. The weather gets pretty humid here in Thane, especially during the monsoon months when the rain really pours down on the roof. We mostly deal with industrial spray equipment. Inside, it’s mostly racks of inventory and some desks for the administrative stuff. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls or anything. It’s more of a working space where we pack things and talk to vendors. Sometimes the local kids are playing cricket nearby in the lane. We start early most days to beat the heat. The tea shop around the corner is where we usually grab a break. We handle the local distribution and make sure the parts get to where they’re supposed to go. It’s a small team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. From moving boxes to answering the phone, it’s just the daily routine. We’re glad to be part of the neighborhood here. It’s quiet enough but keeps us occupied. There’s no big secret to how we work, just showing up and doing the job as it comes. We’ve learned to deal with the slow local trains and the busy market days. It’s all just part of being in Badlapur. We keep our tools ready and our records in order as best we can.
