Our office is in Ganesh Bhavan, which is building A1 on Noori Baba Road. We are quite close to Makhmali Talao, which is a nice spot to walk past in the mornings. Solatron Turbogen Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this space at 125 Noori Baba Road for a good length of time now. The building is one of those older structures that has a lot of character, even if the stairs creak a little. Inside, it’s mostly just a workspace where we deal with turbines and power stuff. It gets pretty busy. We have desks piled with manuals and spare parts sitting in the corners. It’s not a place for people who like everything perfectly polished. We are more interested in making sure the equipment works like it’s supposed to. The neighborhood is fairly lively. You can hear the sounds from the road all day, and there's a lot of coming and going. We know the other tenants in Ganesh Bhavan pretty well. We usually have a small break in the late afternoon to grab some snacks from the nearby stalls. It’s a straightforward way of working. We don't use big words to describe what we do; we just show up and handle the technical side of things. It’s a job that keeps us on our toes, and we like the location near the lake. Sometimes the monkeys from the trees nearby come onto the roof, which can be a bit distracting when you're trying to concentrate on the specs.
