Our office is tucked away in Jimmy Park II, specifically B-1. We are right in Sector 19-A in Nerul, which is a pretty decent part of Navi Mumbai. The Ayyappa Temple is just a short walk away, so we use that as a landmark when people are trying to find us for the first time. We’ve been running Social Cat Brand Communications for a while now. It’s not a big fancy agency with glass walls or anything like that. We are just a small group of people working on branding and communication stuff. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking about ideas, and other days we are glued to our screens trying to finish things up. Navi Mumbai has a different vibe than the main city, and we like it that way. It’s a bit more relaxed here. We don’t really do the whole corporate pitch thing. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they are in the neighborhood. Our desks are usually a bit messy with notes and coffee cups. We don’t have a big HR department or a receptionist greeting you at the door. You just walk in and we are there working. It’s a simple setup but it works for us. We try to keep things honest and just do the work that comes our way without making a big fuss about it. That’s pretty much us.
