Sober Life Foundation

Sober Life Foundation is based out of Plot No. 268 in Balkanji Bari, which is in Ulhasnagar 3. Being in the Kalyan and Thane area means we are always surrounded by a lot of noise and people. Our building is a bit older than some of the others on the street, but it serves us well enough for what we do. We’ve been here for a good while now, just working on the daily tasks. It’s a very simple setup inside. We don’t have any decorations or fancy rugs. People come to see us from different parts of Maharashtra, though mostly it is just local folks from around Ulhasnagar. The streets around here can get very crowded, especially when the markets are in full swing. We just try to keep a quiet space inside our doors. It’s important to have a place where things are kept simple and straightforward. We don’t really do any big advertisements or anything like that. Most people hear about us through word of mouth or by just walking past the plot. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, but we just deal with those things as they happen. It’s a real place with real people working there. We spend our mornings getting things ready and our afternoons meeting with whoever stops by. It is not always easy and the paperwork can get a bit much, but we keep going.
