Sneh Rehabilition Education & Research Centre

We’re over in Navi Mumbai, specifically in Sector 16 of Vashi. The center is part of the Raja Shantanu Co Operative Housing Society, at Plot 29. It’s a quiet enough area compared to some of the busier parts of the city. We’ve set up shop in unit A/1. It’s a space where we handle rehabilitation and some research work too. It doesn't look like much from the outside, just a part of the housing society really. Inside, we’ve got different rooms set up for the education side of things and the rehab activities. It’s a functional space. We see a lot of people coming in and out throughout the week. Sometimes it’s parents with kids, other times it’s just people coming for the research side. We try to keep things running smoothly, but it’s a lot of work. The society is easy to find if you’re familiar with the Vashi layout. There’s a bit of parking around, but it fills up fast. We’ve been here for a while, so the locals know us. It’s not a shiny new building or anything, just a solid place where we do our daily work. We don’t go for anything flashy. It’s just about getting the job done every day for the people who need us. Vashi is a good spot for this kind of center because it’s accessible for most people in Navi Mumbai. We just open up in the morning and stay busy until the day is over.
