Smita Electronics

Smita Electronics is located right here in Thane West at unit 210 of the Jagdish Indl Estate. If you know the area, it’s on Kores Road over in Vertak Nager. It’s an old industrial building, so things are a bit crowded sometimes, but we’ve been operating from this spot for a while now. Most days it’s just us handling the electronics work that comes in. The estate gets pretty busy in the mornings when everyone is opening up their units. There is a lot of noise from the other workshops nearby. We spend most of our time at the benches. Kores Road has changed quite a bit since we first started, but the estate stays mostly the same. It can get hot in the summer, especially inside these industrial blocks. We just keep the fans going and get through the work. People from the neighborhood usually find us without too much trouble because everyone knows where Jagdish is. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular workspace with tools and parts scattered around. We try to keep things organized, but it’s hard when there is a lot to do. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but that is just part of being in this part of Thane. We mostly talk to the other guys in the estate during lunch breaks. It’s a decent place to work if you don't mind the industrial vibe and the sound of trucks moving in and out all day long.
