Siemens Ltd is located at the Kalwa Works along the Thane Belapur Road. It is a massive site and a huge number of people come in and out of the gates every single day. The road outside is always heavy with industrial traffic, large trucks, and buses. Inside the Kalwa Works, there is a mix of different sections, workshops, and office buildings. We have people working on all sorts of engineering and manufacturing tasks in different parts of the property. It is definitely not your typical quiet office environment; there is a constant humming from the machines and a lot of movement across the factory floor. We have been at this Thane Belapur Road location for a very long time. It feels like its own little town sometimes because the area is so large and self-contained. Everyone has their own specific department or area to look after. We do not spend much time on fancy talk here; we just focus on the technical side of things and keeping the operations running as they should. The canteen is usually where everyone catches up for a bit during their lunch breaks. It is a very practical environment, designed more for heavy work rather than for looks. Security is usually pretty tight at the main gates, so you have to have a reason to be there. Some days are very hectic with big deadlines, and other days are just about the routine checks.
