Our business, Shruthi Lifestyle Private Limited, is located at A-255 in Mahape. This area is mostly industrial, so we are surrounded by a lot of other workshops and warehouses. It’s a busy place with trucks moving in and out all day long. Our unit is a straightforward workspace where we handle various lifestyle products and clothing. It’s not a showroom with bright lights and fancy displays. It’s a place where we get our hands dirty. We have benches for packing and tables for checking the quality of the goods. The floor is concrete and the lighting is just regular overhead tubes. We don't have a marketing team or a polished brand image. We are just a small team of people who show up and do the work that needs to be done. Some days are quite stressful when we have a lot of shipments to get out, but we manage. We take our breaks together and usually talk about what’s going on in the neighborhood. We don't have any big corporate goals. Our aim is just to do a solid job and make sure the products are right before they leave our doors. It’s a very manual process most of the time. We are just local people working in an industrial estate, trying to keep everything moving along. It’s not glamorous, but it’s a living and we are okay with that.
