SHRIYOG TEXTILE FEDERATION

We are located at Milkat No 150 in Ward No 3, right in the Hatkanangale area of Kolhapur. It’s a busy place and our textile federation is right in the middle of it. The machines run a lot during the day. It usually gets pretty loud in the morning when the shifts start. Kolhapur has a long history with cloth and fabric, so we fit in well here. Our main door is in Ward No 3 and people from around Tardal walk over for work. We keep track of all the weaving work and the yarn that comes into the building. Some days the work is slow but other days we can hardly keep up with what's needed. The building itself isn't fancy at all. It is just a practical workplace where we get things done. The paperwork on my desk tends to pile up by the afternoon. We mostly focus on getting the fabric out to whoever needs it next. Sometimes the power goes out and everything just stops for a bit, which is a real pain. But then we just get back to it when the lights come on. It is just us doing our part in the local textile industry. Most of the men and women working here have been around for many years. We know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers too. If you ever need to find the office, just ask for the federation near the main road. It’s a plain building with plenty of activity going on inside.
