Shridhar Mfg. & Servicing Works

Shridhar Mfg. & Servicing Works is tucked away in Sector-5, specifically at Plot No.30 in the Durga Bhavan building. If you are walking through Shree Nagar, you will probably hear the machines running before you actually see our sign. We do a little bit of everything in this shop. Some days we are making brand new parts from scratch and other days we are just trying to get an old piece of equipment to start running again. Durga Bhavan is pretty easy to find once you get into the main part of the sector. I have spent more time on this plot than I have at my own house lately. The floors are usually covered in metal shavings by the afternoon. We try to sweep up every evening before locking up, but by the next morning, it is messy all over again. That is just how manufacturing goes when you are busy. There are a few of us working here together. We do not talk much while the heavy machines are on because you cannot hear anything anyway over the roar. We use the back area for the heavier servicing jobs that take up more space. It gets quite hot in the summer months under this roof. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat or ask about a repair. We have been at this spot in Shree Nagar for a good stretch of time now. There is no fancy lobby here, just a lot of work.
