Our office is over at B/36 in the Shree Shaktidham Chambers. We are right in the middle of Wagle Industrial Estate, which is always humming with noise and activity. If you have ever been to this part of Thane, you know how busy it gets with all the trucks and people moving around throughout the day. We spend a lot of our time here dealing with elevator parts and keeping track of schedules for the mechanics. It is a bit of a maze inside this building sometimes. The office itself isn't anything special to look at, just some desks, old filing cabinets, and a lot of phone calls. We spend the whole day tracking where the maintenance teams are going and making sure they have the right components for the lifts they are fixing. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and everything gets quiet for a few minutes, which is actually a nice break from the noise. We have been based in this chamber for a good while. Most of the people working in the other units around us know us by now. We usually drink tea from the little stall downstairs twice a day. It is mostly just about keeping things moving so buildings across the city can keep their elevators running. It is a lot of paperwork and technical drawings spread out on the tables. We don't have a big showroom. It is just a workspace where we get the daily grind sorted out.
