We are situated right opposite Ashok Anil Theatre, which is the main landmark for anyone coming to Ulhasnagar No 3. If you can find the theatre, you will definitely find us. We spend most of our hours fixing frames or checking how someone's eyes are doing with their contacts. The shop is not very big, but we have enough room for the eye testing equipment and the display racks. Ulhasnagar gets incredibly busy, and the traffic on the main road can be a real headache. Sometimes it is so noisy that we have to talk quite loudly to be heard. We see people of all different ages, from kids picking out their first glasses to older neighbors who need help with their reading lenses. It is a steady stream of people most days. We do not do much in the way of big advertisements or anything like that. Most folks just walk in because they live close by or they happen to be passing the theatre. The dust from the street gets on the front glass constantly, so someone is always out there with a cloth. Getting the lenses right is the thing we worry about the most.
