Shivam Clinic

Our little place, Shivam Clinic, is over at Shop Number 2 in Parshuram Apartment. If you know Kesri Park in the Ambawadi area, then you’ve probably walked right past us on Tulinj Road. Nalasopara East is always moving, so it’s never really quiet outside our door. We opened up here because it seemed like a good spot where people could reach us easily after getting off the train or walking from their homes nearby. The shop is tucked into the ground floor of the apartment building. We have a small sink in the corner and a few plastic chairs for people to sit on while they wait. The light from the street comes in through the front window during the day. It’s not a large space, but we keep it clean. Often, the kids from the building play right outside, so you can hear them laughing while we work. Tulinj Road gets very crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. Sometimes we stay open a bit later if there is someone who really needs to see us. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who take turns being at the desk and seeing the patients. We’ve lived in this part of town ourselves for a long time, so we understand the local life here in Ambawadi. It’s just a regular clinic for regular people trying to stay healthy.
