Shifa Clinic

You can find Shifa Clinic in Salamat Pura, right in the Nagaon area. We are located near Gulzar Nagar, and if you are looking for a landmark, the Sagar Plaza Hotel is very close by. Most people tell their friends to look for the hotel and then just walk a little further to find us. The clinic sits in a busy part of Nagaon where there are always people moving about. It is a bit of a maze of streets around here, but once you get to Gulzar Nagar, it is easy enough to spot our door. Inside, the space is divided into a small waiting area and a back room. The light isn't the brightest, but it works for what we need to do. We have a heavy wooden door that we pull shut when it rains because the water tends to splash up from the street. During the day, you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood—kids playing, people talking, and the occasional motorbike zooming past. It feels very much like a part of the local life here. We see a lot of families from the surrounding houses. The furniture is just basic stuff we’ve had for a long time. It isn't a corporate office with a receptionist in a suit; it is just us in a small room in Salamat Pura trying to stay busy and help out.
