SHETKARI-KAMGAR NIDHI LIMITED is based in Thane, specifically in the Wagle Estate area. You can find us at Happy Home in Shanti Nagar, on Road No-27. We are up on the first floor in Flat 1. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs but it is a good, quiet spot for an office. Being in Wagle Estate, we are surrounded by a lot of other small businesses and residences. We work as a Nidhi company, mostly helping out workers and farmers as our name suggests. We handle the small savings and member transactions that keep the group going. The office isn't very big. It has got enough room for a couple of desks and a place for people to wait. We do not have any fancy marketing brochures or slick presentations. We just talk to people plainly and get the documents signed. Most of our members are local folks from around the Shanti Nagar neighborhood. We like being in this part of Thane because it is accessible for everyone. The building, Happy Home, is older but it serves us well. We are not trying to be some high-rise corporate firm. We just want to provide a reliable place for our members to come and manage their money together. It is busy work, but we appreciate the regulars who have been coming to us since we opened. We just try to do right by the people who come upstairs to see us.
