Shashi Shaikshanik Foundation

Shashi Shaikshanik Foundation is based out of Plot 67/1 in Ankharpada. We are right near Gaveli Road in Titwala East. It is a growing part of Kalyan, and we have seen it change a lot. The office is pretty basic, just a desk and some plastic chairs. We spend a lot of time working with the local schools and families around here. Titwala is a nice place, though it gets very crowded during the festival times. Our spot is easy to find if you know the main road. We are not a huge organization with hundreds of employees. It is just a handful of locals who wanted to do something for the kids’ education in the area. We have been here long enough that most of the neighbors know our faces. The building is simple, nothing flashy at all. Sometimes we have tea outside and talk to people passing by on the street. It is a lot of paperwork and phone calls, honestly. We try to keep things grounded. Kalyan is a big place, but Titwala feels more like a tight-knit community where everyone knows everyone else. We like being tucked away near Gaveli Road. It is quiet enough to focus on the tasks at hand. We don't have a big PR team or anything like that. Just us in the office trying to make sense of the daily work. It is hard work sometimes, but it’s just what we do every day.
