Shakuntala Davkhare Foundation

Our small office is tucked away in Shop B1 at the Flower Valley Complex. If you know the Panchpakhadi area in Thane, you’ve probably passed by us without even noticing. We are right near the Eastern Express Highway, so the sound of trucks and cars is pretty much the background music to our day. It’s not a huge place, just a simple shop-front setup where the Shakuntala Davkhare Foundation runs its daily business. We’ve been in this part of Thane for a bit now, and most of the neighbors in the complex know us. We don't have a big staff. It's just a couple of people usually, keeping things moving. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the desk is a bit cluttered with papers, but it works for us. Living and working in Thane means we understand how things go around here. We aren't trying to be some massive global entity. We just want to do our part from this little corner of Maharashtra. Sometimes the rain gets a bit heavy and we have to watch the door, but otherwise, it's a quiet enough spot. We spend most of our time talking to locals or sorting through the logistics of whatever project is on the table that week. It’s straightforward work. No fluff, no big speeches, just keeping the lights on and doing the job from a shop in Flower Valley. We like the local vibe here and plan to stay.
