Sevah Samiti Foundation

Our office is in Tower IV of the Challenger Tower complex in Thakur Village. We are in Flat No.706. This part of Kandivali East is a busy residential hub, and Thakur Village is probably one of the most well-known spots around here. Poisar Village is also just nearby. We have been working out of this flat for some time. It is a high-rise building, so it feels a bit removed from the noise of the street once you are inside. We have a few rooms set up for our foundation work. It’s a very informal setup. We don’t have a corporate office feel at all. It’s more like a group of neighbors getting together to do some good. We spend a lot of time in the main living area which we have turned into our workspace. There are always stacks of papers and folders around. The tower itself is quite big, so we see a lot of people coming and going in the elevators. We like the vibe of Thakur Village because everything is right there—shops, parks, and little cafes. It makes working here very convenient. We don't really have a big public presence. People usually hear about Sevah Samiti through friends or by living in the same building. We just come in every day, do our bit, and go home. It’s a quiet way to run a foundation in a city like Mumbai that never stops. It suits us fine.
