Our place is out in Bhiwandi, specifically at the Prerena Complex on Anjur Mankoli Road. If you’ve ever been to Village Val, you know the traffic is something else with all the containers and lorries moving in and out of the warehouses. We occupy units A 4/11 to 16. It’s a pretty large space because we need the room for all the stock and the processing we do. Sefar India has been operating out of this complex for a while now. The air is always a bit dusty from the trucks outside, but that’s just life in Bhiwandi. It’s a hardworking area. We have a mix of people in the office and the warehouse. Most of the day is spent checking inventory, packing things up, and making sure the lorries are loaded correctly. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We don't have a fancy canteen, just a small area where we sit and have our tea. The weather gets really humid here, which can be tough, but we just get on with it. Sometimes the rain makes the roads nearly impossible to navigate, but we still manage to show up and get the work done. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of environment. We just focus on getting the orders out of the door and keeping the warehouse organized as best we can. There is always a lot of noise from the loading docks, but that is part of the job here. We stay busy.
