Sawant Optometry Clinic

Sawant Optometry Clinic has its home on Manpada Road in Dombivli. It’s a busy stretch of road, and we’ve seen it change quite a bit over the years. The clinic is a straightforward place where we spend most of our time looking at eyes and fitting frames. We don’t have a flashy storefront with neon lights; it’s just a regular door that leads into our workspace. Most of the people who walk in are neighbors or people who have been living in Dombivli East for decades. We know many of them by name, and we’ve seen their kids grow up and start needing glasses too. The atmosphere is pretty quiet inside, which is a nice break from the noise of Manpada Road. We spend our hours doing eye tests and making sure the lenses are cut right. It’s slow, careful work. There isn’t much in the way of fancy decor. We have our tools and our display of frames, and that’s about it. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to clean the mirrors and organize the records. We aren’t trying to be the biggest clinic in the city. We just like being the local spot where people feel okay coming in even if they just have a loose screw on their glasses. It’s just how we run things here, day in and day out, without much fuss. It is a simple shop for a simple purpose.
