Save Nursery Farm

Save Nursery Farm is located out in Gholwad, in the Taluka of Dahanu. It’s a lot quieter out here than in the cities. You mostly hear the wind in the leaves and the birds. We spend most of our time outside, working with the plants and the soil. Our hands are usually dirty, and our boots are always caked with mud, but that’s just part of the job. Gholwad is a nice place, especially when the weather is clear and the sun is out. We have rows and rows of green things growing, and it takes a lot of work to keep them all healthy and watered. It’s not a fast-paced environment. Things grow at their own speed, and we just try to help them along. We have a small shed where we keep the tools and take our breaks when the sun gets too hot. Sometimes we just sit there and look out over the fields for a minute. Dahanu is known for its greenery, and we like to think we’re a small part of that. There’s no rush here, just the daily routine of watering, pruning, and checking the saplings one by one. It’s a simple life, away from the noise and the crowds. We just stay busy with the land and the seasons as they come and go every year. It keeps us grounded.
