You can find us over at Raj Laxmi Hi Tech Park in Sonale Village, Bhiwandi. Our space is on the first floor, specifically units L 5 and 6 in building 1285. This is a massive industrial area, so it’s not the kind of place you’d come for a casual stroll. There are trucks everywhere and the sound of machinery is pretty much constant. We use our units for the bakery work of Sarjena Bakelive. It’s a large, open area that we’ve filled with ovens and prep tables. It’s always warm inside because of the baking, which is nice in the winter but a bit much in the summer months. We don’t have a fancy office or a place to sit and relax. Most of our time is spent standing up and moving things around. The floor is usually covered in a bit of flour, no matter how much we sweep. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or using big words to describe what we do. We just bake and manage the logistics of getting everything out on time. Bhiwandi is a tough place to work sometimes because of the traffic and the dust, but it’s where the action is for a business like ours. We have a small crew and we all know our roles. We just come in, do the work, and head home once the orders are out for delivery. It’s a simple, hardworking life we have here.
