You’ll find Sapate & Sons Textile Manufacturing right in the heart of the industrial stretch in Bhiwandi. Our address is 296, Gangaram Pada, just off the main Bhiwandi-Nashik Road. If you’ve ever been through this part of Thane, you know how busy it gets with all the trucks and the textile units. The noise of the machinery is pretty much constant from morning until night. It’s a family-run thing, as the name suggests, so there’s usually a couple of the Sapate family members hanging around the factory floor. We focus on making textiles, which means dealing with threads, looms, and a lot of grease. The office is tucked into a corner of the building, and it’s usually covered in a thin layer of lint. We don't bother much with making the place look pretty because we're here to work. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It’s a tough business with a lot of competition around here, but we’ve managed to stay in the same spot for quite some time. We don't have big meetings or fancy presentations. We just look at the fabric coming off the machines and make sure it looks like it’s supposed to. It’s just us doing what we know how to do in a town that’s built on cloth. Most of the guys working here have been with us for years.
