Santonino Educators Foundation

You can find us at C/310 in Dosti Coral-3, which is part of the Stella area in Barampur, Thane. It is a bit of a trek if you are coming from the main city, but it is a nice enough neighborhood. We have turned this space into the home for Santonino Educators Foundation. It feels more like a home than an office because it is in a residential building. We have a small kitchen where we make way too much tea during the day. There are three of us who handle most of the work. We deal with educational stuff, mainly helping out with resources for local students. We do not have a big budget or fancy office gear. Our printer jams at least once a day, and the air conditioner is a bit loud, but we make it work. We spend our mornings planning and our afternoons talking to teachers or parents. Sometimes we hold small meetings in the living area. It is a very informal way of doing things, but it works for us. People in the building know us as the education people. We do not try to be anything we are not. We just show up, do the work, and go home. Thane is a busy place, but our little corner in Dosti Coral stays pretty peaceful. It is a good spot for thinking and getting things done without too much distraction from the outside world.
