Our office is based in the Lokdhara area of Kalyan, Maharashtra. We operate out of the Kailash Lokdhara Housing Society, specifically in building D4, room 103. Being located inside a housing society gives our firm, Sankalpan Architect And Infrastructure Pvt Ltd., a very local and relaxed feel. It’s not your typical glass-and-steel office building. Instead, we are right there where people live. We handle a mix of architecture and infrastructure work, which means our desks are usually covered in messy sketches and large rolls of blueprints. The office is a bit small, and sometimes it gets cluttered with samples of building materials, but it is where we get everything done. We don't have a professional marketing team or anyone to polish our image. We just talk to our clients like normal people and try to figure out what they need for their projects. Kalyan is a busy place, but our little corner in Lokdhara is relatively calm, which is good for when we need to focus on complex drawings. We aren't looking to become a giant corporate entity. We just enjoy the process of designing and planning things that eventually get built. Most of our neighbors know us, and we often end up chatting with people while we are heading out for lunch. It’s an honest, simple way to run an architecture business. We just show up, do the math, draw the lines, and try to keep things moving forward.
