Sanjiv Thakur & Associates

We are located right on the ground floor, at Shop No. 1 in the Akshata C.H.S. building. It’s on Almeida Road in the Chandanwadi area. Being in a shop-front space means we see a lot of people walking by every day. Sanjiv Thakur & Associates is a small local firm. We don't have the big glass windows or the fancy lighting of the offices in the city center. It’s a practical space with some desks, a couple of filing cabinets, and a lot of project folders. The door is usually open to let in some air, unless it’s really dusty outside. We handle a lot of the local work around Chandanwadi and the neighboring streets. People often just pop their heads in to ask a quick question or to drop off some papers. It’s a very informal atmosphere here. We don't use much in the way of high-tech gadgets, just our computers and the usual drawing tools. Sometimes the street noise from Almeida Road gets a bit loud, but we’ve lived and worked here long enough that we don't really notice it anymore. We spend our time going back and forth between the office and various sites. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do for a living. We like being part of the local community and knowing the people we work for. If you’re passing by the Akshata building, you’ll see our sign right there.
