Sampurn Sahayata Foundation

If you are coming from Mira Road station, you can see Shanti Shopping Center right across the street. We are inside at Shop B/209. It’s a busy place with lots of other shops around. The station is so close that we hear the trains announcing their arrival all day long. Our shop isn't huge, but it fits everything we need. We have some storage in the back and a small counter up front. The shopping center gets very crowded in the evenings when people are heading home from work. Sometimes it’s hard to walk through the corridors because of the crowds. We’ve been here at Sampurn Sahayata Foundation for a bit. We keep the door open mostly to let some air in. It gets warm during the summer months. Most of us take the train to work too, so the location is handy. We don't have fancy decorations or professional lighting. It's just white walls and some old shelves. We spend our time talking to people who walk in and handling the paperwork. There is a small tea stall downstairs where we go during breaks. Life here is fast because of the railway station nearby. We just do our bit every day. It’s a practical space for us. We know the other shop owners around here pretty well now. It’s a decent community to be part of in Mira Road East.
