Saint Gobain Weber India Ltd. has an office in the Crown A Wing of Hiranandani Estate in Thane West. Our unit is 206. This area is quite nice and modern, but inside our office, it is all about the work. We handle the administrative side of the construction material business. There is a lot of back and forth with suppliers and site managers. Since we are in Thane, we are centrally located to reach a lot of different projects across the whole city. We don't have a lot of wall decorations or fancy furniture. It is mostly just functional stuff so we can get through the day’s tasks. We deal with things like tile fixing solutions and wall masonry products. It is a lot of numbers and tracking shipments. People who work here have been in the industry for a while, so we know what we are talking about without needing a script. We aren't here to give you a sales pitch. We just provide the products that builders need. The atmosphere in the office is usually pretty focused. We take our breaks, talk about the weekend, and then get back to the spreadsheets. It is a regular job for us. We like being in Hiranandani because it is a good location for travel, but the core of what we do is just plain old logistics and supply chain management for the local construction industry. It is steady work that keeps us on our toes.
