Our place is in the Wagle Industrial Estate, specifically Plot No. 2 in the Doshi Apartment on Road No 5. We’re quite close to the Neptune Elementc building, which is a big landmark around here. Working in an industrial estate means everything is about utility. Our space is more of a warehouse than an office. We have heavy shelves and a lot of stock tucked away in boxes. The floor is concrete and can get quite cold in the winter months, but in summer it's just hot. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading things from the delivery vans. It’s a lot of physical work, and by the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired and covered in dust. We don't have a fancy coffee machine; we just have a small stove in the corner for making tea during the mid-morning break. The atmosphere is casual. We wear clothes that we don't mind getting a bit of grease on. Sometimes customers come by to pick up their orders directly, and we have to clear a path through the crates for them to walk to the small desk we have. It’s not a polished environment, but it’s where we get things done. We know the other business owners on Road No 5, and we often help each other out if someone needs a hand. We just try to keep our head down and keep the business moving.
