Sadadevi Foundation

Our place is in Kamothe, which is part of Navi Mumbai. Sadadevi Foundation is located at B-205 in the Parth Co-Op Housing Society. It is in Sector 35, on Plot No. 66. Being in a housing society means we are right in the middle of where people live. It is a quiet enough area, except when the kids are playing outside in the evenings. We have got a small office here where we handle everything. It is not very big, so things can get a bit cramped when we have visitors or deliveries. We spend our days dealing with local issues and helping out where it is needed. We do not have a lot of rules about how things should be done. We just look at what is in front of us and try to help. Sometimes we are helping a family with paperwork, other times we are just listening. Raigarh is a big area, but we mostly stay focused on our little corner of Kamothe. The office has a few chairs and a table where we keep our tea. Most people find us through word of mouth. We do not advertise our work. If you are in the neighborhood, you have probably seen us walking around. It is a simple way to run things, but it works for us. We do not have a big staff, just a couple of dedicated people.
