S.K.P.Enterprises

S.K.P.Enterprises is tucked away in Unit No. B-7 of the Om Sai Industrial Estate, right on Road No. 30 in Wagle Estate. If you know this part of Thane, you know it’s always a scramble with all the industrial activity and the narrow roads. Our unit isn’t the biggest, and we often have to move things around just to make space for a new shipment. We deal with various enterprise supplies, so there’s always something different coming through the door. The walls are lined with shelves that are mostly full, and sometimes it feels a bit cramped when we’re all working at once. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big reception area. Most of the time, the front door is just open to let some air in while we work. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to vendors and making sure we have what people are asking for. It’s a lot of manual work, too, moving crates and checking labels by hand. We aren’t trying to be a huge company; we just want to get through our daily list of orders without any major mistakes. The tea stall down the road is where we usually take our breaks and catch up with other people from the estate. It’s a very regular, hard-working environment, and we’ve been here long enough that we don’t really think twice about the noise or the dust anymore.
