Rushiprakash India Foundation

Rushiprakash India Foundation is based in Thane. We have a small room, Room No. 4, in Poojari Chawl. It’s right near the big water tank in Savarkar Nagar. If you’re from around here, you know the spot. The address is 400606. It’s a very local kind of place, nothing like those big offices in the city center. We deal with things from this little room. Sometimes it gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have a fan. We don’t have a lot of space, so we have to be careful about where we put things. There are always people walking by outside since it’s a chawl. You hear the kids playing and neighbors talking while we work. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. We don't use big words or have complicated rules. We just show up and do what needs to be done for the foundation. Being near the water tank makes it easy for people to find us. Thane is growing fast, but our corner of Savarkar Nagar still feels like a tight community. We’ve been here for some time now. It’s just a simple work environment where we handle our daily business. No bells and whistles. Just a few chairs, a desk, and some ledger books. We like it this way. It feels real and connected to the people around us.
