Down in Virar West, part of the Mumbai suburban sprawl, you’ll find us at B-203 Gulmohar Complex, Phase I, M.B Estate. We are Rmc Readymix India Pvt. Ltd. Virar is a fast-growing area, so there is always something being built. Our office is inside a residential and commercial complex, which makes it feel a bit more like a neighborhood business. We don't have a big sign or a fancy entrance. It’s just a place where we get our work done. Most of our day is spent talking to site managers and checking on our trucks. The traffic in Virar and moving towards the city can be a nightmare, so we spend a lot of time looking at maps and clocks. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to make sure the concrete gets poured where it needs to be. The staff here is small. We all do a bit of everything, from answering phones to checking invoices. We don’t have a professional writer to do our descriptions, so this is just us telling it like it is. We’ve been in this spot for a while and we know the local roads and the local people. It’s not always easy work, especially when the sun is beating down, but we keep at it. We are just part of the local building trade. Sometimes the paperwork piles up, but we get through it eventually. It’s a solid way to spend the day, working with people who are actually building things.
