We have been running Riddhi Organics from this small spot in Padmakar CHS on Tilak Road for quite a while now. It’s not a very big shop, just room A/14, but we managed to fit a lot of shelves in here. Dealing with organic products wasn’t something I planned at first, but it just happened over time as people started asking for healthier things. Tilak Road gets really busy in the evenings, so I usually try to get the heavy crates moved in during the morning hours when it is quieter. My cousin helps me out when he isn't busy with his own work, and we mostly just talk to the locals who walk past. Sometimes the light in the back flickers, but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. People come in looking for specific lentils or oils, and we just point them to the right corner. It’s a bit dusty because of the road construction nearby, but we keep the stock covered as much as we can. The wooden counter has been here since the start and it’s seen better days, though it still holds up for now. We don’t really do any big advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are. If someone asks for something we don't have, I usually tell them where else to look. It’s just a normal daily routine here. I spend a lot of time drinking tea from the stall across the street while waiting for deliveries to arrive.
