Resilience Women Foundation

We operate out of Flat No. 303 in the C Wing of Neelkanth Valley Complex in Ambarnath. It’s a quiet residential area in Thane, and we like it that way because it feels like home. Resilience Women Foundation is really just a bunch of us who wanted to help out women in the neighborhood who are going through a hard time. We don't have a big fancy office in a glass building. Instead, we have a kitchen where we make tea and a balcony where we sometimes sit to talk things through. Ambarnath is a bit far from the main city buzz, but it’s a good place for the work we do. People come in and out of the complex all day, and we’re just another door in the hallway. We deal with real problems, the kind that don't always have easy answers. Sometimes the work is slow, and other times it feels like there isn't enough time in the day. We don't use big words or marketing slogans. We just try to be there for the people who reach out to us. The Neelkanth Valley community is friendly, and being part of a housing society keeps us connected to everyday life. We aren't trying to change the whole world at once, just making things a little more manageable for the women who find their way to our door.
