You can find us at Gala No. 9 and 10 on the ground floor of Trishul Apartment. This is over in Kolshewadi, which is part of Kalyan East in the Thane district. It is a very busy neighborhood with people always rushing to the station or moving through the narrow lanes. Our space is tucked into the ground floor so it is convenient for moving goods in and out without having to deal with elevators. We deal with textiles every day and the space is usually filled with stacks of material waiting to be processed. It gets a bit cramped sometimes when a big shipment arrives, but we have a way of organizing things that works for us. The walls are a bit scuffed from the crates, and the floor is always covered in tiny bits of thread. That is just the way it is when you are working with fabric in a space like this. We have a few fans going all the time to keep the air moving, especially during the humid months in Maharashtra. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we all walk or take a short rickshaw ride to get to work. It is not a fancy setup, just a couple of units in a residential building where we manage our trade. We usually have the shutters half-down in the afternoon to keep the dust out while we work on the orders. It keeps things manageable and quiet enough to get through the paperwork.
