R B Jain & Company has been around Dombivli East for a long time. Our office is in Block No 1 of the Pradhan Building, which some people still call the Kamlashankar Building. We are right on Nehru Road, which runs parallel to the railway track. If you’re coming from the Phadke Road Post Office, we’re just across from it, right next to the Hdfc Bank. You can often hear the trains passing by while we work. It’s a sound we’ve gotten used to over the years. We do a lot of accounting and tax work for the local businesses and families here in Thane. Our desks are usually covered in ledgers and various folders. We don't have a modern, glass-walled office. It’s more of a traditional setup with wooden cupboards and old-fashioned fans. People stop by to drop off their receipts or to ask a quick question about a new rule they heard about. We try to give them a straight answer without making it sound too complicated. We aren't a big corporation. We are just a local firm that knows the community. It can get a little crowded in the office during tax season, but we manage. We’ve seen the post office and the bank change faces many times, but we’ve stayed right here in the same block. It’s a convenient place for everyone to reach. We just do our bit and keep things moving along every day.
