Purnatva Council For Vocational Training For Specially Abled People

Our council, Purnatva, is located in Thane West. We have our main office in Flat No. 301, which is in Building No. 6 of the Prattpushpa complex. It’s a residential area, so it feels quite calm compared to the main city roads. We focus on vocational training for people who are specially abled. Because we are in an apartment building, the space is limited, but we make it work. We have a few rooms set up for training sessions and administrative work. There’s always someone at the door or on the phone. We’ve been in Prattpushpa for a while, and the neighbors are used to seeing our students and staff coming in and out. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift isn't working, but we manage. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just the basics needed to teach some skills. It’s a small team running the show. We spend our mornings planning lessons and our afternoons working directly with the people who come to us. Thane is a big place, but we’ve found a nice little corner for ourselves here. We try to keep things as organized as possible despite the cramped space. It’s not a big institution, just a group of people trying to provide some useful training in a way that feels like home. We are just doing our best to help folks gain some independence through the training we offer here.
