Purchase Administrator

I work as a purchase administrator out of a small room in Thane. It’s Room Number 17 in the Parijat Apartment building, right in the middle of Wagle Industrial Estate. Being in an industrial estate means it’s always loud with the sounds of factories and trucks, but it’s the right place for what I do. My job is mostly about buying things for the company and keeping the records straight. It’s a lot of spreadsheets and phone calls to suppliers. The room is small, and I’ve got stacks of files everywhere, but I have my own system for finding things. It’s not a fancy corporate office with a view; it’s just a practical space in an old apartment building that’s been converted for office use. Wagle Estate has been around forever, and you can feel the history of the place. I spend most of my day at the desk, making sure we aren't overspending and that the parts we need actually show up on time. Sometimes the lift in the building is temperamental, so I end up taking the stairs. It’s a bit of a grind, but I like the routine of it. I don't have any assistants or a big team; it’s just me handling the purchasing side of things from this little corner of Thane. It’s honest, boring work, but it needs to be done right every day.
