We are based out in Mahape, specifically at El-93 in the Electronic Zone of Block A. It’s right on Road No. 16 in the TTC MIDC area. This is a big industrial zone, so there are factories and labs all around us. Protolab Electrotechnologies is a bit more technical than some of the other shops nearby. We have some sensitive equipment, so we try to keep the place a bit cleaner than your average workshop. The commute out to Mahape can be long for some of the staff, especially when the roads are blocked up. We have a small canteen area where we grab tea and talk about the news. The work we do involves a lot of concentration and looking at small components. It’s not the kind of place where you see people rushing around; it’s more about being steady. We have a lot of computers and testing machines taking up most of the desk space. The air conditioning is actually pretty good here because the equipment needs to stay cool. We don't have a lot of visitors, mostly just delivery drivers and the occasional engineer. It’s a quiet building for the most part, except for the hum of the machines. We like it this way because it lets us focus on the tasks at hand. It’s a very functional environment without any unnecessary decorations. We just do the job.
