Progressive Plastics

You can find us at the Eaknath Patil Compound on Azadegaon Kalyan Road in Dombivli East. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but it’s where all the work happens. Progressive Plastics is basically a factory floor filled with machines and the smell of raw materials. It gets pretty hot in the summer, especially near the molding machines. We’ve been here for a good stretch of time now. We make all sorts of plastic parts. It’s not glamorous work. There’s a lot of noise and moving parts everywhere. We spend our days checking the quality of what comes off the line. If something is off, we have to stop and fix the settings immediately. It’s a lot of trial and error sometimes. We aren't some big fancy corporation with a marketing budget. We’re just a local business with a crew of people who know how to run these machines. The compound can get a bit crowded with trucks. We try to keep things organized so nobody gets stuck in the driveway. We talk to our customers directly. There is no middleman or fancy sales team here. If you need something made out of plastic, we see if we can do it. We’re just regular folks working in the heat to get orders out on time. It’s a busy life, but we like it that way. We have been in this spot for years and the neighbors are all good people too.
