PRIVI TEXTILE TRADING PRIVATE LIMITED

Our office is up on the 7th floor of Shree Mahavir Apartments. That is in Kamatghar, Bhiwandi. If you know this area, you know it is always busy with trucks and people moving cloth. We are in Flat 702. It is more of a workspace than a home. We have desks pushed against the walls and samples of textiles everywhere. You can barely see the floor sometimes. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to people in Mumbai and Thane. Dealing with textile trading is mostly about who you know and keeping track of the prices. The lift in our building breaks down once in a while, so we end up taking the stairs. It is good exercise I guess. We aren't a big corporation with fancy logos. We are just a private limited company trying to make a living in the textile market. We have a small team. Everyone does a bit of everything. One day I might be doing accounts and the next day I am checking the quality of a fabric shipment. We have some regulars who have been buying from us since we started. It is a lot of work but it is what we know how to do. The monsoon season is the hardest because the traffic in Bhiwandi gets even worse than usual. We just stay in the office and keep working through it. That is how we operate.
