We are located in Sector 7, Vashi, which is a pretty well-known part of Navi Mumbai. The office is at P-17, RH-5, and it’s where we handle all the planning for our building projects. Prescon Builders isn't a massive corporation with hundreds of offices; we are right here on the ground in Maharashtra. Construction is a tough business with a lot of moving parts, so we spend a lot of time on the phone with site supervisors and suppliers. Vashi is a great location because it’s connected to everything, but the traffic can be a nightmare when we have to get out to the sites. We focus on putting up solid structures that people can actually use. There’s a lot of blue prints spread out on the tables and usually a lot of dust from the files. We’ve had some of the same crew for years, which helps because they know how we like things done. It is a lot of early mornings and late nights, especially when a deadline is coming up. We don't really go in for fancy presentations or slick office furniture. We just show people what we are working on and let the sites speak for themselves. It’s hard work, but seeing a building go from a hole in the ground to something finished is a good feeling for us.
